Hello my name is Helen, I’m a qualified Integrative Counsellor located in Lichfield, Staffordshire. I offer my clients warmth and honesty which is fundamental to building a good therapeutic relationship. I won't judge you or offer advice but will help you to overcome any difficulties and work out what you need in life, so that you can thrive.

I have 18 months experience working in a Birmingham based counselling service, working with a wide range of clients from different cultural backgrounds.

I have experience working with a variety of different issues including anxiety, depression, low self esteem, childhood trauma, bereavement and loss.

I will work with you to understand the challenges you may be facing. We all experience difficult times in our lives, and seeking counselling is a non judgemental and safe way to help you to overcome these challenges.

I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation to ensure that we would be able to work together.

What can I talk about?

You can talk about anything that is on your mind – counselling is a safe space for you to bring anything you feel you need to discuss or to help you process any difficulties you may be facing.

Where are you located?

In the upcoming months I will be able to offer face to face sessions in my new office which will be located just 5 minutes away from Lichfield.

I can offer face to face appointments in Lichfield along with online sessions via Google Meet and telephone sessions.

Is this a confidential service?

Yes, what you say in our sessions is confidential and I adhere to the NCPS code of conduct and policies regarding confidentiality. Information you provide will not be shared with a third party other than in exceptional circumstances such as safeguarding issues or if required by law.

Will I be charged for my session if I don’t turn up ?

I ask for payment (via bank transfer) for each session 24 hours in advance to secure the appointment.

Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will still be charged in full, this is due to the fact that I am unable to offer the time slot to another client at such short notice.

If I cannot make a session due to ill health you will not be charged, I will always aim to give as much notice as possible.
